- An inspiring woman shares her story for not being married and keeping her orphanage open:
“”Years ago when I was going to get married, my to be in-laws asked me to give up the orphanage I had begun. At that time, my mother asked me to do what I wanted to do, and not give up anything under the pretext of marriage. That’s when I decided to continue what I started – I’m still single and I’ve chosen to be single. I have 60 children here who look to me as a mother and that’s what makes me happy. People in India feel that if you aren’t married you cannot be complete but I’m proud to be a woman – a complete woman and I didn’t have to be married to feel this way.”
